Live At Maritime Hall chronicles the first US performances that Lee Perry did in 17 years at the Maritime Hall in San Francisco in 1997. Backed by Mad Professor & The Robotiks, Scratch toots on a toy horn and delights the crowd with extended workouts of favorites like "Secret Laboratory" and "Roast Fish And Corn Bread". Having seen Scratch live in Vancouver around the same time this album was recorded, my only complaint is that instead of recording a full length gig with all of the hilarious between song banter, the album is edited together from more than one show. However, it makes a nice souvenir for those who saw Scratch in action at the time.
