Love Is Better Now
Guerrilla Priest (with Lee Perry)

The Terrorists were a New York ska/reggae band who made some pretty interesting music in the late 1970s and early 80s. Before the British 2-Tone scene inspired a legion of imitators, The Terrorists had their own distinctive vibe going. The band played live with Scratch during his time in America in the early 1980s, and two studio recordings captured their brief collaboration: "Love Is Better Now" and "Guerilla Priest". The former is a love song with Scratch in the producer's chair, while the latter is a typical early '80s ranter with Scratch on vocals. Definitely more suited for those who first heard reggae via The Clash or The Specials, but this is an interesting collection and a neat snapshot of a largely forgotten part of the New York scene.
