Clint Eastwood - The Upsetters
Clint Eastwood is boss for Lee Van Cliff... "Clint Eastwood" was one of the many wild instrumentals that Scratch recorded with the Upsetters and gave a western mood to. Other wild west Upsetters shots include "For A Few Dollars More", "Bronco", "Django Shoots First" and the famous "Return Of Django".
While these early Upsetters instrumentals were popular in Jamaica, it was in Britain that they found their most appreciative audience. Punch was one of several labels controlled by the Pama group that released early reggae in Britain, where early reggae scorchers like "Clint Eastwood" and "Prisoner Of Love" became underground hits.
