Just One Look - Annette Clarke

Hortense Ellis recorded a handful of tracks with Scratch under the names Mahalia Jackson and Anette Clarke. "Just One Look" is a sultry cover of the Doris Troy song, just one of the soul covers that Ellis did for Scratch. It makes you wish that the two had recorded more together.

"Just One Look" was one of the first Black Art records (1973) with the seldom seen "sun and moon" design instead of the more familiar black and red label that was used from 1974 onwards.
